has officially announced the launch date of its upcoming smartphones. The Honor 200 series is set to debut in India later this month. The lineup is confirmed to comprise of the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro. Both smartphones have already debuted in the global markets. Notably, they will be the third and fourth smartphones to launch in India after the brand’s re-entry in the Indian market. The Honor 200 series is confirmed to debut in India on July 18, Thursday.
Honor has collaborated with a Paris-based photography studio called Studio Harcourt. The brand is teasing the device as ‘The Portrait Master’. The Honor 200 series will feature a 50MP portrait camera with OIS. The smartphones are confirmed to run on MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14. It will pack various AI features that include the brand’s MagicLM on-device language learning model.
The Indian variants of the Honor 200 and 200 Pro are expected to retain the same specifications as their global counterparts. Both phones feature a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED screen with a 1.5K display resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The standard and pro models are equipped with Snapdragon 7 Gen and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipsets respectively. They are backed by 5,200mAh battery units with support for 100W wired charging. The Pro model also supports 66W wireless charging.
