PETALING JAYA: Portal berita Malaysiakini melaporkan perubahan dasar di Hong Kong yang berkuat kuasa mulai esok menyaksikan penerima vaksin di Malaysia tidak dibenarkan memasuki wilayah itu.

Menurut laporan tersebut, keputusan tersebut sekali gus meletakkan pelajar dan ahli perniagaan yang ada urusan di Hong Kong kini berada dalam keadaan tidak menentu. Ini kerana pada 1 Ogos lalu. pihak berkuasa Hong Kong mengumumkan kemas kini senarai yang dianggap negara berisiko tinggi dengan menambah 15 lagi negara termasuk Malaysia.Dengan larangan terbaru itu, residen Hong Kong yang tinggal di 25 negara terbabit mestilah lengkap divaksin apabila tiba di pulau berkenaan sebagai syarat tambahan kepada ujian wajib serta kuarantin selama 21 hari.

Ini berbeza dengan negara berstatus ‘berisiko sederhana’ dan ‘berisiko rendah’ apabila pengunjung yang tidak divaksin atau divaksin separuh masih dibenarkan masuk dengan jangka waktu kuarantin yang lebih lama. Namun, pada waktu yang sama, Hong Kong hanya mengakui sijil vaksinasi yang dikeluarkan oleh pihak berkuasa kesihatan tertentu dan Malaysia tidak termasuk dalam senarai berkenaan.
