Hong-Kong investment fund raises $500 million with the goal to invest in projects with real-life use cases.
On Jan. 17, the Hong Kong-based global asset manager HashKey Capital announced the closing of a $500 million investment round for its FinTech Investment Fund III.
Speaking with Cointelegraph, Xiao Xiao, an investment director at HashKey Capital, said the synergies in the Web3 space are a key factor to what keeps investors coming back for more. Xiao said financial organizations can see cryptocurrency as another asset class to diversify their portfolio. Likewise, he highlighted that investing in a fund creates an easy intro to engage with the Web3 space.
