BUTTERWORTH: The Home Ministry has seized more than 20,000 sex toys worth an estimated RM1.1mil in Bukit Mertajam here.

Its Enforcement and Controls Division secretary Nik Yusaimi Yussof said the seizure was made at a premises here during Ops Maya 2/2023 on Feb 15.

He said they confiscated a total of 22,929 items, believed to have originated from China, that were sold from RM70 to RM450 on e-commerce platforms.
