Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail has stated that he is leaving the criminal intimidation case allegedly involving his son to the authorities for a thorough investigation. He emphasized that if any report is made against his son, it is the police's responsibility to investigate it comprehensively and impartially.
The Minister referred to a statement by the Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, stating that the investigation paper has been finalized and submitted to the Attorney-General's Chambers. He stressed that due process should be followed and that no one, including his son, is above the law. This follows a report by Razarudin on Thursday that police had concluded investigations into a criminal intimidation case involving the son of a minister, which gained traction on social media. The investigation paper was delivered to the deputy public prosecutor on Monday for further action
