THE Computing faculty team at the Faculty of Engineering and Computing (FEC) at First City University College is embarking on a transformative journey to redefine computing education.
Published on: Monday, March 25, 2024Through collaborative projects, industry partnerships, and a comprehensive curriculum, students are equipped with the skills and mindset necessary to excel in diverse career paths within the ever-evolving field of computing.
Currently, FEC boasts a repertoire of four dynamic computing degree programmes: the Bachelor of Software Engineering , Bachelor of Computer Science , Bachelor of Information Systems in Business Management, and Bachelor of Information Technology . The faculty team aims to integrate elements of mathematics, engineering, and even business studies into the curriculum, providing students with a holistic understanding of the field and its real-world applications.
By immersing themselves in practical experiences, students can develop problem-solving skills and gain valuable insights into industry practices,” Sherryn remarked.
