Holidays are already expensive enough without having to fork over money that they weren’t prepared to pay, with people being reminded of a lesser known charge at Dublin Airport
If you are being dropped off by a family member or friend, it’s important to know where you can stop to take out your luggage.
Dublin Airport has a rule that all vehicles outside of the terminals should never be left unattended. “There is a charge of €140 for recovery of the vehicle. If the vehicle is not collected on the day it is removed there is a further €35 charge for each day’s storage.” “Motorists should follow signs for T1 Departures or T2 Departures to access these set down areas. Please note for security and passenger safety unattended cars will be towed away immediately.”
