Mr Aquilina also defended the compensation amount of $1500 per vehicle General Motors had agreed to pay to Holden dealers and said 90 per cent of dealers had accepted the compensation and would continue to provide service and parts to Holden's 1.6 million Australian customers. He added that General Motors was grateful to the governments which subsidised Holden and said the company had generated 18 times the $2 billion dollars it received.Alex Ellinghausen
