Hong Kong actor and film producer Louis Koo recently welcomed over 600 fans for his annual Chinese New Year gathering in Tsim Sha Tsui, hosting 60 tables for the festive celebration. However, the event took an awkward turn when Koo, 54, was greeted with an unexpected kiss from a female fan.Just as he moved on to mingle with nearby guests, the fan suddenly leaned in and planted a kiss on his cheek, leaving the actor visibly surprised.
Staff members quickly intervened and ushered her off the stage. The fan, reportedly from mainland China, was seen smiling as she walked away. However, she defended her actions, claiming that she didn’t actually kiss Koo and only gave a “Western-style cheek greeting”, according to Dimsum Daily.
