The driver did not stop after the crash, but police say they have found a damaged Toyota FJ Cruiser SUV they believe was involved in the incident and are talking to the vehicle’s owner.
The crash occurred just before 2 a.m. in a construction zone in the westbound lanes of I-90 near Columbia Road. Police say the victim is an employee of A&A Safety in Cleveland but was working in a construction zone for the Ohio Department of Transportation.
