“She’s always told me, ‘I want you to go out there and show your talent. I want you to become a star,’ ” she said.Article content The songs on the album address love, separation, abuse and grief, drawn from her personal experiences. One particular song, Fell Apart, is dedicated to her late sister. There was times when I would break down and cry because when I wrote, I wrote for my heart. It was really emotional.”
