Many counties in Florida, Tennessee, and Arizona were seeing more people moving in from somewhere else in the US than out to another county.
Four Texas counties were among the top 10 large US counties that saw the greatest positive net domestic migration from July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022, per 1,000 residents. That included Rockwall County, with net domestic migration of 47.6 per 1,000 residents.for net domestic migration from July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022.
"This pattern has reversed between 2021 and 2022, where many of the small counties that experienced increases in domestic migration saw that pattern slow down," the press release added."In the meantime, many large counties, particularly in the South and West, observed an uptick in domestic migration."
"All counties in Delaware, Maine and New Hampshire had positive net domestic migration," the news release published on the Census Bureau stated.
