The store is expected to employ about 20 people.
The new Jonestown Road store will open on Aug. 26.
PetSmart also has stores on the Carlisle Pike in Hampden Township and on Derry Street in Swatara Township. The location is an additional store for the area and not a relocation. PetSmart isn’t the only new business opening at the shopping center. Bath and Body Works opened a new store at the shopping center this month and My Salon Suite Harrisburg is opening a location there as well.
