is also set to refresh their Mac lineup too a month after that. Chances are we’ll be seeing the new Apple M3 and just that for now, but new reports suggest that the entire M3 family of silicon has already been settled upon by Cupertino.
Moving up the product stack, the M3 Pro will have at least 12 CPU cores split equally between performance and efficiency cores, while a higher end configuration of the M3 Pro adds two more performance cores to it. Similarly, the base M3 Pro gets an 18-core GPU, with the more powerful M3 Pro using a 20-core GPU. The M3 Pro is slated to be in the MacBook Pro 14 and MacBook Pro 16, and if Apple decides to continue what they did with the M2 Mac Mini, the tiny desktop may also get an M3 Pro model.
