Ahsoka can bring Kanan back (not time-travel)
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Star Wars has recently brought the majority of the animated Rebels cast to live-action, but there is one way to bring back the show's final hero in Ahsoka. Having been a critical leader of both The Ghost crew and master to Jedi Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus was one of the most dynamic Jedi Knights who survived Order 66 at the end of the Clone Wars.
Kanan Jarrus aka Caleb Dume survived the Jedi Purge and eventually grew up to form the Spectres with pilot Hera Syndulla and her droid Chopper. Over time, they would recruit Lasat warrior Zeb Orellios, Mandalorian Sabine Wren, and the young Force-sensitive Ezra Bridger whom Kanan decided to train as a Jedi. Discovering new aspects of the Force as he taught Ezra, Kanan played a key role in the Rebellion's formation.
During the Liberation of Lothal, Kanan interacted with a group of these sentient Loth-wolves who helped guide him through the Force, especially during his final mission to rescue Hera from the Empire and save his found family. Following his sacrifice, Ezra would encounter the same pack of Loth-wolves who helped Bridger and his allies free his homeworld from the Empire's grip. However, one of these wolves was much bigger than the others, sharing the same name as Caleb Dume.
Will Ahsoka Feature A Glimpse Of Dume The Loth-Wolf Dume the Loth-wolf exists as a manifestation of Jarrus' will through the Cosmic Force, something that was theorized by Ahsoka herself. Likewise, showrunner Dave Filoni has confirmed that Dume didn't exist until after Kanan died. This implies that the wolf is essentially an alternate form of maintaining the spirit after death beyond the traditional Force ghost.
