Robbie Henshaw has signed a new two-year IRFU contract, keeping him at Leinster until the 2027-28 season. Henshaw, 31, had been linked to French clubs Toulon and Toulouse but chose to remain at Leinster , where he has played since 2016. The arrival of All Blacks star Jordie Barrett , who has expressed a preference for playing inside centre, presents a challenge for Henshaw's usual No.12 jersey.
However, Henshaw welcomes the competition, believing it will push him to improve and strengthen the Leinster team. Henshaw emphasized that playing for Ireland remains a top priority and contributed to his decision to stay in Ireland
