The only good use case I have found for the Airburst Rocket Launcher so far is that it can exterminate groups of Terminid Scavenger grunt enemies. With it being easy to become overwhelmed by hordes of Terminids, this could come in handy. However, with it having such a large blast radius, it is only effective when the enemies are at a distance.
