A chilly palette shaded Mirren’s gown and manicure, icy blue furthered by an assemblage of diamond jewelry. But rather than relying on her sterling lengths to round out the look, the actor put her characteristically elegant spin on 2023’s want of all things mermaid, her hair hued in a confluence of aqua, cobalt, and periwinkle. The crown of flyaway curls provided a wash of cool in more ways than one, aided, in part, by Mirren's carried fan.
