Angel Olsen has released a stirring cover of Bob Dylan’s “One Too Many Mornings” from his classic 1964 albumOlsen’s rendition is featured in the season finale and soundtrack of the Apple TV thriller based on Lauren Beukes’ best-selling novel,The series stars Elisabeth Moss as a Chicago newspaper archivist with a traumatic past.
According to a press release, all streaming royalties from the song will be donated to Everytown for Gun Safety, a nonprofit organization fighting for gun control. For Olsen, the melancholic and sparse rendition of “Mornings” sounds right in line with material from her forthcoming album,
