Health Ministry to screen 18,000 tahfiz pupils possibly exposed to virus
The Health Ministry will screen some 18,000 tahfiz pupils who may have been exposed to Covid-19. So far, more than 1,700 of the number have been screened and 217 of the tests came back positive for the coronavirus. – The Malaysian Insight pic by Najjua Zulkefli, April 15, 2020.
THE Health Ministry is ramping up its screening of tahfiz schools to curb the spread of Covid-19, said Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah. The Health director-general said they received information that 18,616 tahfiz students may have come into contact with Covid-19 carriers Effective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription.
