The health ministry has sought more funds from the finance ministry to increase the number of thermal scanners at entry points to the country.

Dzulkefly said his ministry had asked for an additional allocation from the finance ministry to step up surveillance at Malaysia’s borders.He admitted it was difficult identifying all those infected.
