CORONAVIRUS | Ministry calls on doctors, specialists to apply for contract for service.

The Health Ministry has called on private medical doctors and specialists to apply for a three to six-month contract to join the national fight against Covid-19 pandemic.

“The Health Ministry would like to invite registered medical practitioners who are interested and who fulfil the criteria to apply as a contract for service to help the ministry provide health services to combat the Covid-19 outbreak,” the ministry said. According to the statement, specialists would be contracted for up to six months, with a payment of up to RM12,000 a month or RM400 a day. Meanwhile, private doctors will be contracted up to three months, for RM6,000 a month or RM200 a day.
