Health Ministry looking into harmful chemicals in plastic containers
Health Minister Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad will discuss the possibility of plastic products manufacturers declaring the chemical content of their products with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, November 10, 2019.
THE Ministry of Health Food Safety and Quality Division will look into the report of harmful chemicals found in cheap plastic food containers and toys on sale nationwide. “I have to look at the report first and we will make decision after we go through BKKM’s findings,” said Health Minister Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad.
