Health Ministry confirms 10 new Covid-19 cases in Malaysia, bringing total to 93

KUALA LUMPUR, March 7 — The Health Ministry today confirmed 10 new cases of Covid-19 in Malaysia, making it a total of 93 positive cases reported in the country to date. Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said in a statement that all 10 cases are linked to Case 33, a 58-year-old man who travelled to Kuching on February 16.
He added that four of the new cases announced today were in the first wave of close contacts with Case 33, while the remaining six were in the second wave.
