KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The number of new Covid-19 cases continues to decline with 4,626 cases logged in the past 24 hours, compared to 4,979 cases on Sunday (Oct 31).
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the latest development takes the cumulative cases to 2,476,268.
"From the total new cases, six cases were imported while 4,620 cases were local transmissions,” he said in a statement on Covid-19 situation today. According to the statement, 569 cases needed treatment in intensive care unit , with 301 of the requiring respiratory assistance.
