KUALA LUMPUR, June 13 — Malaysia has recorded a 0.4 increase in the number of new Covid-19 cases for the Epidemiological Week 23 , from June 5 to 11, to 11,096 cases compared with 11,052 cases reported in the previous week .

“The average infectivity rate showed a 5.5 per cent increase at 0.96, compared with 0.91 reported in the previous week,” he said in a statement today. Meanwhile, he said the admission of Covid-19 patients into health facilities, namely public hospitals and the Covid-19 Quarantine and Treatment Centres per 100,000 population, has decreased by 10 per cent for the same ME compared to the previous ME.
