The State Highway Patrol says the driver of the motorcycle, Donald Brown Jr., 67, and his passenger, Lisa Brown, 65, both of Clyde, died in the crash.
TOWNSEND TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A car driving on a rural highway in Sandusky County went across the center line Saturday, colliding with a motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction and killing both riders, the State Highway Patrol says.
The patrol says the driver of the motorcycle, Donald Brown Jr., 67, and his passenger, Lisa Brown, 65, both of Clyde, died in the crash, which occurred at about 4:11 p.m. on Ohio 101, just south of the Ohio Turnpike. Neither rider was wearing a helmet, the patrol says. The patrol says Brown was driving a 2014 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide northeast on Ohio 101 when a 2019 Nissan Sentra driven by a 72-year-old Clyde woman went left-of-center and hit the motorcycle head-on. the driver of the Sentra was seriously injured and was taken to Firelands Hospital in Sandusky.
