Amos Yee is out on parole, barely halfway into his six-year jail term in the United States for grooming a teenage girl and possessing child pornography.
The Malaysian Air Pollution Index Management System website showed that the Nilai, Negri Sembilan recorded the highest IPU with a reading of 162.
This was followed by Bukit Rambai, Melaka ; Batu Pahat, Johor ; Cheras, Kuala Lumpur ; Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan ; Banting, Selangor ; Alor Gajah, Melaka and Melaka City, Melaka . In addition, Tangkak, Johor ; Segamat, Johor ; Putrajaya ; Klang, Selangor ; Seremban, Negeri Sembilan ; Larkin, Johor ; Paka, Terengganu ; Kemaman, Terengganu ; Rompin, Pahang ; Indera Mahkota Kuantan, Pahang and Shah Alam, Selangor .In the meantime, 42 APIMS stations across the country recorded moderate IPU readings, while another five stations recorded good readings in Sabah and Sarawak.
IPU readings between 0 to 50 are categorized as good, 51 to 100 , 101 to 200 , 201 to 300 , while 300 and above are dangerous.
