New pieces of AI art turn every character in Harry Potter into Pixar knockoffs (even Voldemort) and the result is actually pretty compelling.

A new batch of Harry Potter AI art puts all major characters in the franchise into a Pixar-style movie, and the result is surprisingly good. Based on the beloved novels by controversial author J.K. Rowling, the Harry Potter movie franchise got its start back in 2001. After seven successful sequels and three divisive spinoff films, the Wizarding World is now set to continue in a new TV show at Max .

Following Warner Bros. Discovery's announcement of the new Harry Potter reboot TV show, Twitter user Lorenzo Green has shared a thread of AI-generated images imagining what the franchise's main characters would look like Pixar-style. The result is surprisingly magical, turning characters like Hermione, Ron, Hagrid, Dumbledore, Dobby, Draco, and even Voldemort into adorable animated characters in a very cozy version of Hogwarts castle.

Rowling's Harry Potter books quickly became a big hit, building out a magical world with characters that captivated children and young adults around the globe. This world that the author built was then brought to life in live-action to great effect, capturing the sense of magical wonder and excitement.

Although Hogwarts later becomes a major battleground for the final showdown against Voldemort, in the first handful of Harry Potter movies the castle manages to be both warm and inviting, and mysterious and dangerous. These qualities make Hogwarts a prime location to set an animated adventure.

That being said, Rowling remains a controversial figure and the reactions to the Harry Potter TV show online weren't all positive. While the original eight films remain beloved, any future endeavors in the Wizarding World are sure to be tainted somewhat by Rowling's controversial reputation. There's also the matter of the first eight films so effectively tell Harry's story that a rehash of these adventures isn't really needed.
