Three new bicycles courtesy of Guardian Knights Motorcycle Club were given to the department to help replace older and damaged bikes.
The Harrisburg Bureau of Police received a charitable donation Thursday of three new bicycles to add to their patrol fleet.
Guardian Knights Motorcycle Club, a local nonprofit, presented the police department with the bikes at Riverfront Park in front of the Walnut Street bridge. The bicycles will help to replace older bikes used by the department or any that may have been damaged over the years. The department now has seven bikes.
The hope for the department is that more patrol bicycles will appear less intimidating within the community and help to build a stronger interaction among residents and police.Ex-director of Broad Street Market misappropriated $17K via credit card, checks, bonuses: police If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.and agree that your clicks, interactions, and personal information may be collected, recorded, and/or stored by us and social media and other third-party partners in accordance with our
