The Texas Department of Transportation recently tackled the task of clearing up underpasses to keep them safe not only for those camping underneath them but drivers who might not otherwise see the inhabitants.
Deputies with Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office recently assisted Texas Department of Transportation crews in clearing underpasses along State Highway 249 and FM 1960.
“This is an ongoing issue that puts not only the persons living under the bridges at risk but it is also a concern for the safety of the citizens,” the Constable’s Office reported.
