Bwala was reacting to claims by the Senate Chief Whip, Ali Ndume , that Tinubu has shut his doors against ministers and members of the National Assembly amid the hardship in the country.

Reacting, Bwala challenged Ndume to route his complaints through Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, or Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to the President. Posting on X, Bwala wrote: 'At this time it will be safe to say that Senator Ali Ndume’s media rounds and outbursts are personal and selfish. It appears to be about his interest and penchant for gaslighting and grandstanding.
