This year the students of Perkins Elementary were escorted by police to Petco Park for their annual Padres game field trip. Homeless encampments crowded the sidewalks. Thanks to the Harbor Police, parents say they felt protected. More info:
SAN DIEGO – Each year, a school near Downtown receives free tickets for over 100 students to attend a Padres day game.
