Konsul Jeneral China di Kota Kinabalu, Liang Caide menerima sumbangan daripada Persatuan Persahabatan Ma-Zhong di Kota Kinabalu, hari ini.

Liang berkata jumlah pelancong China menurun secara mendadak sejak kerajaan negeri melarang penerbangan dari China ke Sabah dan mengenakan sekatan masuk dalam usaha menghentikan penyebaran koronavirus.“Namun kerajaan mengambil pelbagai langkah termasuk melanjutkan sesetengah visa dan memastikan beberapa syarikat penerbangan beroperasi supaya pelancong dapat kembali ke China.

“Mengikut permintaan pihak berkuasa imigresen Sabah, pelancong terpaksa meninggalkan selepas 7 hari . Ketua Menteri Shafie Apdal sebelum ini berkata visa itu tidak boleh dilanjutkan lebih dari seminggu kerana negeri itu tidak kelengkapan untuk menangani wabak koronavirus di Sabah.
