Haniza yet to be called before PKR disciplinary board

KLANG: Suspended PKR women’s wing chief Haniza Talha wants to be able to explain herself before the party’s disciplinary board.

“I don’t know why the disciplinary board is taking so long. I want to be able to explain and counter all the accusations against me because I am not guilty of them," said Haniza when contacted on Monday .

Haniza was brought to book for allegedly meeting expelled former deputy PKR president Datuk Seri Azmin Ali and former party vice-president Zuraida Kamaruddin at a hotel on Feb 24. Haniza also alleged the action imposed against her contradicted the decision that was made by the party’s political bureau and its central committee regarding the matter.

In the letter sighted by The Star, Haniza was also stripped of all the positions she held prior to the suspension.
