silverstone f1 Lewis Hamilton melakar kemenangan menakjubkan apabila menamatkan perlumbaan Grand Prix (GP) British dengan penuh dramatik di sebalik berdepan masalah tayar pancit pada pusingan terakhir sekali gus kemenangan ketujuhnya di GP itu.
Pelumba Mercedes itu menyaksikan tayar kiri di bahagian depan gagal berfungsi namun dia masih mampu menamatkan perlumbaan di depan pemandu Red Bull, Max Verstappen.
Verstappen berpeluang untuk menang jika dia tidak melakukan hentian pit pada lewat saingan untuk menukar tayar baharu. Rakan sepasukan Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas turut berdepan situasi tayar pancit pada dua pusingan lebih awal sekali gus gagal mengutip sebarang mata. Pelumba Finland itu menamatkan saingan di kedudukan ke-11 dan ketinggalan 30 mata di belakang Hamilton.
