Archaeologists have uncovered the ruins of an 'incredibly rare' 5,000-year-old tomb. The Neolithic site at Holm on Mainland, Orkney was largely destroyed by Victorian antiquarians 127 years ago.
Dothan City Schools announced Wednesday that Erica Hall has been named the school system’s newest transportation director.
Hall is a graduate of Alabama State University, where she majored in elementary education. She also holds a master’s degree from Troy University and an educational leadership degree from Auburn University in Montgomery. Prior to her educational roles, Hall gained transportation experience during her time in the military. Enlisted in 1989 as a motor transport operator, Hall was commissioned as a logistician in 2005 and retired as a logistics officer with the Alabama Army National Guard in 2019.
Hall is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and has served as the vice president of the Dothan Alumnae Chapter in the past. She participates on the Wiregrass Area Panhellenic Council and is a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Lookwell No. 219 chapter.
