NEW YORK: Seorang hakim di New York menangguhkan prosiding kes jenayah Presiden terpilih, Donald Trump, berkaitan pembayaran wang sogokan kepada seorang pelakon pornografi, menurut dokumen yang didedahkan semalam.
Hakim Juan Merchan dijangka membuat keputusan sama ada sabitan terhadap Trump boleh dibatalkan berikutan keputusan Mahkamah Agung mengenai imuniti Presiden, Julai lalu.Pendakwa Raya dari Pejabat Peguam Daerah Manhattan, Alvin Bragg menghantar emel kepada Merchan memohon supaya prosiding ditangguhkan berikutan kemenangan pilihan raya Trump pada 5 November lalu, dan pelantikannya sebagai Presiden pada Januari 2025.
