After thirty-one years and building twenty-two homes, Habitat for Humanity is taking on a new challenge.
Angy Abaunza, formally the nonprofit director of operation, has been promoted and will lead the new Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Arkansas as the new executive director as they embark on this new chapter. The expansion has been in the works for about a year. Abanuza says they’re ready to continue the mission of providing homeownership.
Habitat for Humanity has two programs, the most recognizable being providing affordable homeownership by building a house for local families in need. The other is the homeowner repair program.
