He has now evolved that small shack into one of the most successful entertainment brands in the nightlife industry. Under The Night League umbrella, Yann now runs two of the most popular and lucrative clubs on the White Isle: the Ushuaïa Beach Hotel, Hï Ibiza , as well as several successful clubbing brands including Children of the 80’s, BIG, and the exploding Ants brand.
Also, it’s evolution. It's changing. It's more expensive; the clubbers are different. The clubbers of 10 years ago are older now, so now it's new generations coming in and they're acting in different ways. It's a different model: you have globalization, you have social media. So instead of coming to enjoy three days on the beach people now are coming to take a selfie on the beach during 20 minutes, and then they leave. I think the world of tourism is changing.
What do you think Ibiza at large must do to remain the premier destination for electronic music lovers?to people. I mean, you can charge for something, but you have to deliver. You can't be charging a fortune for table or room.
