Guiuan, E. Samar faces extreme danger heat index, 38 areas under danger level on Wednesday

The town of Guiuan, Samar is expected to be under the extreme danger level heat index while 38 other areas may reach the danger level on Wednesday.

According to PAGASA’s 5 p.m. heat index forecast on Tuesday, the town of Guiuan, Eastern Samar is expected to have a 55°C heat index.Wednesday would mark the third straight day of more than 50°C heat index in the area.
