Based on KOFIC’s monthly box office tally for May based on total admissions, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” released on May 3, is No. 1.
The film sold 3.93 million tickets and grossed $31.29 million in May to rule the box office in South Korea with a revenue share of 34.96 percent for the month. “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” came in third with 1.55 million tickets sold and revenue of $11.44 million.
