Guan Eng: Govt targets to collect RM150b in direct taxes this year

“ with the Inland Revenue Board’s capability in increasing tax collection and people who are more willing to pay their taxes because they are confident that a clean government will not rob them,” he said when officiating the 2019 Revenue Day here today. “This shows the country’s economy is solid, in line with the federal government’s principles of competency, accountability and transparency,” he said.
