PEMIMPIN pembangkang Venezuela, Juan Guaido pada Khamis menggesa perhimpunan aman di pangkalan tentera, beberapa hari selepas pihak tentera menyatakan sokongannya untuk menggulingkan Presiden Nicolas Maduro. Gesaan terbaharu itu dibuat selepas Maduro meminta pasukan tentera di negara bergolak itu menentang sebarang “cubaan menggulingkan” kerajaan, selepas pemimpin itu berdepan bantahan dan tekanan antarabangsa, terutamanya dari Amerika Syarikat.
