GUA MUSANG : Residents of Gua Musang are urged to remain vigilant and promptly evacuate to the nearest temporary evacuation centre as the second wave of floods looms.

"Water levels of rivers in Gua Musang are rising and if rain continues into the evening, more areas could be flooded," he said. Gua Musang police chief Supt Sik Choon Foo said some villages in the interior and several areas near Gua Musang town were already experiencing floods. "Roads are beginning to flood and residents are urged to exercise caution and follow authorities' instructions if ordered to evacuate. They are also advised to bring their essential documents such as identity cards," he said.
