The regional music Mexican group is scheduled Aug. 27 for San Diego.
Grupo Firme is set to perform in San Diego as part of its first U.S. stadium tour, making it the first Tijuana and first Mexican act to headline at Petco Park. The show will take place on Saturday, Aug. 27.
The group has made a name for itself with such hits as “Ya Supérame”, “El Tóxico” and “Gracias,” as well as “Cada quien,” in collaboration with Maluma. As part of its “Enfiestados y Amanecidos” tour, Grupo Firme will visit nine cities across the country.will perform“This tour is completely revamped. It´ll bring the essence of each of us,” Eduin Caz, the band’s lead singer, said in a statement. “We all have our ways, and so we´re hoping to translate that on stage.”The group said the shows will feature folclórico dancers, and teased that they would include banda, norteño and mariachi tracks.
The 2022 tour will include these stops: Saturday and Sunday, May 28-29, at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles; Saturday, July 2, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara; Saturday, July 9, at FedExField in Washington, D.C.; Saturday, July 23, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta; Saturday, July 30, at SeatGeek Stadium in Chicago; Saturday, Aug. 6, at AT&T Stadium in Dallas; Saturday, Aug. 27, at Petco Park; and Saturday, Sept. 3, at NRG Stadium in Houston.
Tickets for the San Diego concert will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, April 15, through Ticketmaster. Tickets start at $62.50 and go up to $503.
