KOTA KINABALU: The supreme council members of the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) coalition gave little indication on the number of seats to be shared among themselves and with their ally, Barisan Nasional.
This comes after their meeting on Thursday night – the first after Parliament’s dissolution on Monday – amid speculation that Barisan had offered 13 of the 25 parliamentary seats.
“We have not discussed about the candidates yet. We will announce that later,” he told reporters at the Sabah Bersatu office in Likas here on Thursday night.“What’s important is that we must be ready to face the polls and activate the GRS machinery as well as work with Barisan.” GRS secretary-general Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said he was happy with the mood among the heavyweights in the meeting.
