Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) launched her Fight Like Hell PAC on Monday in an effort to boost Democrats in the 2024 elections.
The popular Democratic governor helped lead the party to a massive victory in the state in 2022, helping her party secure majorities in the state House and Senate. With her new PAC, Whitmer is looking to continue the party's fortune in the state to keep the Great Lakes State in the Democratic column for the 2024 presidential election.Michigan voted for Joe Biden in 2020 after voting for Donald Trump in 2016.
"Today I’m launching Fight Like Hell PAC to support candidates who fight like hell for working people and their fundamental freedoms. It’s time to build on our momentum and support candidates who will deliver real, meaningful change," Whitmer tweeted on Monday.
