Gerwig, who showcased her budding belly in a striped dress during the “Tonight Show” appearance, went on to share her son Harold’s reaction to the news.
“It’s hard to know what a 3-year-old makes of things that aren’t existent yet in front of him,” the screenwriter explained.The Golden Globe nominee has been with Baumbach, 53, since 2011, and they kept their first pregnancy under wraps.in March 2019 with a statement simply reading, “We can confirm that Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach have welcomed their first child together.”Gerwig and the filmmaker have also remained similarly tight-lipped about their possible relationship status.
In January 2020, Gerwig made headlines when she referred to Baumbach as her “fiancé” at the Golden Globes.She has been with Baumbach since 2011.
