Can't wait for a sausage roll on our sofa!
You’d be hard pressed to find a company that has had as good a year so far as high street bakery Greggs. We are only 10 days into January and the best-loved chain are smashing it with their launch of the vegan steak bake which sold out and was a resounding success. The company then announced that their staff would all be getting a collective £7,000,000 bonus because last year was their best on record.
Over the past few years the company have trialled several different digital delivery platforms including UberEats, Deliveroo and Just Eat in certain cities. However it is not clear what company they are going to collaborate with as previously their delivery stints have been shot-lived and only part of some sort of promotion.
But even though this news is game-changing we are still in the dark about when it will be available. Nevertheless fans on social media seem to be excited with one tweeting: “This will be a temptation too much.” Known as ‘Free Fries Friday’ the offer is on for the whole of January and both new and existing customers can claim the deal which will give you one medium portion.
